The Digital Human’s Mission.
Our mission is to foster positive, mindful change in the way we interact with our digital world by putting our humanness at the core of our engagement. In doing so, we can reduce stress, be more focused, regain control over our digital consumption and be more content in our lives.
Our Approach.
We regard technology as an invaluable tool to our modern world. When examining the broad-ranging effects of the digital in our work, we give consideration for both positive and negative impacts.
The Digital Human’s unique proposition relies academic research and various psychology theories.
The Human
Julie Palcic
As a child, one of Julie’s favourite pastimes was people watching (It still is). As an adult, these observational skills, combined with a high emotional intelligence, allow her to truly see others and easily relate to the people she interacts with. She is an empath who is passionate about digital wellbeing and connects with her audience through her warmth and honesty.
Julie is French, but neither French or English speakers really believe it. Her English is fluent with a gentle touch of an Irish accent which tends to stick when she speaks in her mother tongue.
A bit more...
Having had a long career in sales within large tech multinationals, she has witnessed first- how the rapid and constant evolution of technology impacts on businesses and people. She has studied a range of subjects, including data analytics, sociology, politics and philosophy. On top of her role within The Digital Human, she is also a trainee psychotherapist and student at PCI College in Ireland.
In her spare time, Julie enjoys simple activities such as cooking, hiking, skating and writing stories. An avid learner, if she ever feels she has too much spare time, she has a stubborn tendency to fill it by enrolling in a programme to learn something new!
